I'm Scared, Are You?
Yes, those are stirrup pants and Yes, they're baaaaaaack!!!!
I spotted an entire rack of these babies at Macy's and I wasn't in the old lady deparement either.
And to make this matter even scarier a popular jeans designer has come out with stirrup jeans, yes folks, stirrup jeans. 7 for All Mankind is now selling uber expensive stirrup jeans. I might spend $170 on a pair of awesome jeans, but I wouldn't spend $.10 on a pair of stirrup jeans.
I did not enjoy the comeback of the skinny jean, mostly because I'm way to curvy for them, but I can live with the skinny jean. I cannot live with a stirrup pant comeback though. It is like Kindergarten through the 2nd grade all over again.
4 Month Appointment
Davis had his 4 month appointment today, he got 2 shots, they were the worst yet. He was so mad, he even held his breath until his lips turned blue. After a good 3 minute cry, he was fine. He now weighs 14 lbs, 1 oz. and is 26.5 inches long. The doctor said he is very long for his age. Now I know why he is in 9 month clothing now!

Who Lives In a Pineapple Under the Sea
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!!
Davis loves Spongebob Squarepants. It happened to come on one day and he heard that song and his little head turned right towards the TV. He loves it and yes, I allow my 4 month old child to watch 30 minutes of Spongebob every day. He gets tired of the excersaucer and playmat, but he never gets tired of good old Spongebob. Some mothers may think I'm just terrible for letting him watch TV, but I don't give a rats rump. What is the difference between putting your kid in an excersaucer so you can get things done and putting them in a bouncy to watch a kid friendly show? Nothing really, either way your not interacting with them.
Oh yeah and take that Baby Einstein, you suck. Davis strongly dislikes your DVDs, you make him cry.

Awwwww Isn't He a Cutie??
Davis will be 4 months old in a few days, I can hardly believe he is already that old. It seems like yesterday my water was breaking.
He can hold his head up really well and is loving his exersaucer and Bumbo seat. I will take some pictures of him enjoying his exersaucer and post them soon.
Hanging out with Mortimer the Moose and his frog.
Chilling with Maizy
Big Boy Sitting on the Couch
Relaxing on Daddy's Hammock

Where Did My Little Newborn Go???
Tuesday, July 7, 2009
$19,200
That is how much money I would have made by the time Davis turns 4 months old if I were making $10 per hour as a stay at home mom. I work every day of the week, no weekends off for me and I work approximately 16 hours per day. That means I've worked 1,920 hours in just 4 months. Imagine how much I'd be owed if I were paid overtime or paid $20 an hour.
Maybe I do deserve a Bugaboo stroller..........
